2014 being Year of the Horse in the Chinese Zodiac, I thought it relevant to do this little piece acknowledging that. The Horse forms the shape of Aotearoa in a simple calligraphy style.  It celebrates looking to the future with hope and optimism, clarity and love. He is a fusion of my heritage, Chinese, Maori and European. His heart pumps with the blood of Aotearoa, the land of good fortune.
