NZOC 'Waharoa' Sculpture
Commissioned by the NZOC for the Kiwi Village at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. This piece was made from different stone aggregates, stainless steel and acrylic. It was a symbol of the joining of hands, unity and togetherness ‘Kotahitanga’. One half was gifted to the Rio community and the other, returned back to Aotearoa - keeping the connection alive.
