May 1st, 2013Brancott Estate Adventure
May 1st, 2013Thanks heaps to the Brancott Estate family for being such fantastic hosts for Shane & Kirsty’s recent visit. It was a day jam packed with beautiful birds (and a Karearea), fabulous views, delish wines and gorgeous food! Big ups to Kathy for being our morning tour guide and Patrick for babysitting us for the afternoon. Can’t wait to get back to the Heritage Centre for more tasty wine & food!
It’s all about the glove as Shane hangs with the beautiful birds, Diana and Kathy (plus spunk Andy) from the Marlborough Falcon Trust in Blenheim. Check the links below to find out what Brancott Estate is doing to support the Trust and what these amazing peeps are doing to preserve and protect the Karearea.
The beautiful Fern puts Shane in his place and teaches him how to respect a lady! She is such a beautiful, elegant animal. Breath taking, with nails to die for!
Vines as far as the eye can see. This pic was taken from the roof of the Heritage Centre in Blenheim. What a view. The rich orange coloured vines are pinot, the yellow are sauvy. Yum!
Here is Brancott Estate’s Head Winemaker Patrick, our handsome babysitter for the day. He looks after Shane’s number one bird, his beautiful wife Kirsty, while Tony keeps Shane away from the large barrels in the background. Really enjoyed seeing what happens behind the scenes to make the wine so tasty!
